Arrival and departure (check-in and check-out)

If you should arrive after 18.00 o'clock, we ask for short telephone notification. Late check out on the day of departure only by arrangement with the reception.

 

• Use of the room till 16.30 o’clock included afternoon snack € 55.- per person.
• Use of the wellness area with changing room included afternoon snack € 30.- per person.

 

On the last day of the summer and winter season, it is not possible to make the late check-out or even the afternoon buffet, because these days we close at 11:00 am. Departure until 10:30 a.m.

On the first day, in summer and winter season, the arrival is possible from 3:00 p.m.

 

Deposit:

Your booking is confirmed on receipt of your deposit of 1/3 of the stay value. You will be informed of our bank details for a bank transfer in the reservation confirmation. In order to pay by bank transfer, our bank details will be given to you upon confirmation of the booking.

You can tell us also your credit number with validity date (not American Express) by phone.

 

Early bird bonus:

8 % early booking bonus if booked at least 3 months before arrival (except Christmas, New Year's Eve, Carnival, Biathlon, Easter, August, offer where discounts are already included).

Bookings from Sunday to Thursday -7% subject to requests and availability.

The deposit must be paid within 7 days from the date of reservation.

Single room supplements:

Surcharges for using the double rooms as single rooms (per night):

+100 % (per night) in high season - otherwise € 25,00 (per night)

Bear suites: 100 % (per night)

 in the high season - otherwise € 50,00 (per night)

Luxury suites: 100 % (per night)

 

Bed & Breakfast

If you wish a bed and breakfast treatment, we will deduct € 15,00 a day per person from the price of the halfboard published in the price list.

 

Room preferences/table preferences:

We are happy to consider specific wishes regarding rooms or tables, but we cannot guarantee confirmations with set numbers of rooms or tables.

 

Hotel services not used:

Substitutions and reimbursements cannot be made for any hotel services not used.

 

Cancellation conditions:

In case of cancellation we ask for written notice.

General Cancellation Conditions

Cancellation up to 40 days before the date of arrival is free of charge; the deposit paid will be credited to your next stay. If you wish your deposit to be refunded, we reserve the right to retain a handling fee of 50,-€

Cancellation between 30 days and 20 days before arrival: the deposit will be lost.

Cancellation between 20 days and 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total price.

Cancellation less than 10 days before the arrival day: 70% of the total price.

In case of late arrival or early departure we charge 80% of the price for the remaining but unused services.

In case of another lockdown in Italy, the deposit will be credited to your next holiday. Lockdowns in other countries will be handled according to their laws.

Please do not forget to think about taking out travel insurance, (approx. 5% of the booked arrangement). We recommend the following travel cancellation insurance (click here) .

 

Voucher rules: 

Each voucher is valid only until the expiry date. Each voucher can only be used once. Vouchers cannot be returned and will not be refunded.

 

Methods of payment:

We accept cash, EC cards and credit cards (except American Express, Amex) for the final invoice balance. Please check the foreign limit of your card before you arrive. You are also invited to make a bank transfer in advance.

Smoking:

Smoking is not permitted in the Bärenhotel in all closed rooms and in the rooms and suites. A smoking room is available for smokers.

 

Pets:

We’re happy to welcome dogs, but please let us know so that we can agree in advance.

We charge € 25,00 a day for each dog (without food). Dogs are not allowed in the dining room, the wellness area. We ask you to bring your own dog blanket and basket. Please put the dog on the lead.

The guest who brings an animal with him/her is obliged to keep or properly supervise the animal during his/her stay.

The guest bringing an animal must have adequate pet liability insurance or private liability insurance covering damage caused by the animal.

The Guest is liable to the Hotel indiscriminately for any damage caused by the animal. The damage also includes compensation payments to be made by the Hotel to third parties.

We reserve the right to charge a supplement of 50,- € for the final cleaning, as well as the right to use your dog's liability insurance in case of damage and default of the room, until the renovation is completed. 

We reserve the right to charge you for any damage discovered after your departure.

 

5 tips for bringing your dog on a South Tyrol holiday

Entry requirements
Visitors bringing their dog to South Tyrol must comply with the EU entry requirements, which include an EU pet passport, microchip ID and a valid rabies inoculation (received at least 21 days before). Baby animals aged up to 12 weeks are not allowed to enter, while puppies must be aged 15 weeks or older and have received a valid rabies inoculation.

Leash laws and muzzle
In Italy, since the corresponding regulation of 2009, dogs must be kept on a leash. The permitted length of the leash is 1.5 meters.

Out and about with your dog
If you choose to travel by public transport, your four-legged friends will be able to accompany you just follow a few directions, such as making them wear a muzzle, or make sure they are not an obstacle to driving on car trips.

 Cleaning up
In South Tyrol, dog waste must be disposed of in a dog waste bag.

 

Once the new price lists are published, the previous prices will cease to be valid.The management is not responsible for any errors in printing or translation and reserves the right to make changes to the price list.
